2023 Wwc: Super Falcons Good Enough To Beat Australia – Coach Waldrum

Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum believes his side have what it takes to beat Australia in their Group B clash at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Waldrum’s side will take on the Matildas in their second game in the competition on Thursday.

The game is billed for the Brisbane Stadium.

The encounter represents another tough test for the Super Falcons following last Friday’s 0-0 draw against Canada.

Waldrum stated that his team had the quality to beat the co-hosts.

“It’s a very, very difficult group. So you’re not going to be putting in four or five goals a game in this kind of group,” the American told a press conference.

‘So I’m not worried about that. We have quality in the team, we have players that can score goals and we just have to make sure when those opportunities come that we’re clinical.”
