Adamawa Polls: Gov Fintiri Appeal for Calm Ahead Of A Rerun

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State has expressed deep appreciation to the people of Adamawa for their support throughout March 18 elections as he callS for calm while they await the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announcement on the new date for a rerun of the governorship election that was declared inconclusive.

The Governor made this known while speaking on the outcome of the gubernatorial election in his office at the government house, Yola.

Expressing appreciation to the masses for the massive support and solidarity, the Governor said their love, trust and kindness to him means a lot and will always be treasured.

He called for calm urging them to go about their lawful businesses without fear as they expect a date for the rerun election, expressing optimism that the outcome will reflect the choice of the people.
