Africa’s Best World Cup Team, Morocco Schedules Matches Against Brazil And Peru

Morocco’s Atlas Lions which in December achieved Africa’s best mark at the World Cup have scheduled a friendly match against Brazil, the top-ranked national football team in the FIFA rankings.

The match scheduled for Tangier next month is one of the two high-profile games for the team.

The other one is against Peru.  The two fixtures were announced on Wednesday

The Atlas Lions will have their first friendly faceoff against Brazil on March 25 in the Tangier Grand Stadium at 10 p.m. Moroccan time. 

Despite losing to Croatia on penalties in the quarter-finals of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Brazil currently tops FIFA’s ranking of the world’s best national teams. 

Morocco’s second friendly match will take place against Peru on March 28 in Spain. The game will take place at Civitas Metropolitan Stadium in Madrid at p:30 p.m. local time.
