Alex Iwobi Wins Everton Player Of The 2022/2023 Season Award

Alex Iwobi has won the Everton FC Players “Player” of the season award for the recently concluded 2022/2023 season.

The award as voted for by Players of the Merseyside club was won by the Nigerian midfielder who was ever present as Everton survived the drop.

To show his importance at the club, Iwobi was named in the starting XI for all 38 English Premier League games at the club in the just concluded season.

Iwobi was also the clubs most creative player scoring twice and assisting eight others to guide the club to top-flight safety.

This is the first time the former Arsenal midfielder has won the Everton FC Players Player of the year award since joining the club in 2019.

In a related development, the midfielder is reportedly set to decide on his future next week. If he decides to move, there will be a flurry of options while manager Sean Dyche will look to retain one of the key players at the club.
