Eric Moore High School Old Students Association (EMHSOSA) has appealed to the Lagos State government to come to their rescue in replacing some of the dilapidated structures in the school with modern buildings.

The President of the group, Sina Oyegoke, in a statement, said it is becoming difficult for students of the school to experience convenient learning owing to the deplorable state of facilities, which has been left in ruins for many years.

He said the alumni members have visited the Commissioner for Education, Folasade Adefisayo to discuss on how the state government can quickly provide the needed resources to address the infrastructural crisis in the school.

While stressing that there was need for timely completion of the modern block of classrooms to aid learning convenience for current students, Oyegoke said no true learning could take place under such deplorable conditions.

He said that students have been using the neighbouring classrooms temporarily for sometime and the completion of the classroom project will help the students focus better.

Eric Moore High School is one of the foremost schools known for its academic success among its contemporaries in Lagos State and has been a driving force for students since its establishment in 1980.
