Ballon d’Or: Sadio Mane Wins The Socrates Award

Bayern Munich and Senegal forward Sadio Mane is the inaugural winner of the Socrates Award.

“First of all good evening everybody,” he says.

“I am really happy to be a guest tonight. Sometimes I am a bit shy but I am really happy to do what I can do for my people to make things better.

The award which is for humanitarian actions, was presented by  former Brazil and Paris St-Germain midfielder Rai, the younger brother of Socrates.
