Therapy, a Cameroonian film starring Nollywood stars Richard Mofe-Damijo and Ireti Doyle, has made history as the first movie from the African country to debut on Netflix.
The aforementioned movie stars join Jing, Alenne Menget, Lucie Memba, and Neba Godwill as cast members of the film, with a script from Forkwa Babila.
Therapy is the story of a dysfunctional couple who enlist the services of an unconventional therapist in an effort to put an end to their marital troubles.
It also focuses on the inability of a man to have children and its consequences in a typical African setting. It is co-directed by Anurin Nwunembom and Musing Derick. Victoria Akunjobi of Anthills Studios is credited as the film’s editor.
