Delta Poly Rector Warns Against Indecent Behaviour

The Rector Of Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, Emmanuel Ufuophu-Biri, has warned students against inappropriate behaviour on campus.

He cautioned students against engaging in prostitution, indecent dressing, hooliganism, behaviour of an erotic nature, consumption of hard drugs and substances, examination malpractice and other forms of criminalities.

He said any conduct or action that could negatively affect the students’ well-being, future prospects, or tarnish the polytechnic’s reputation will not be tolerated.

He also revealed that students who had engaged in these shameful acts of public display have already faced sanctions and would be subject to further disciplinary action.

He disclosed that the consumption of alcohol has been banned on campus for both staffs and students.

He stated that any student found taking hard drugs would be apprehended and subjected to a medical examination and if found guilty, disciplinary action would be taken.
