Emirates and Air Peace Expand Travel To 13 Nigerian Cities

Global airline Emirates has signed an interline agreement with Nigeria’s Air Peace, enhancing travel connectivity for passengers flying to and from Nigeria. This partnership extends Emirates’ reach to 13 additional Nigerian cities, offering seamless single-ticket booking and simplified baggage handling.

The agreement was announced in a joint statement by Emirates’ Deputy President and Chief Commercial Officer, Adnan Kazim, and Air Peace’s Chief Operating Officer, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Olajide.

As part of the deal, passengers flying from Dubai to Lagos can now connect effortlessly to key Nigerian cities, including Asaba, Akure, Benin City, Calabar, Enugu, Ilorin, Kaduna, and Owerri. Additionally, business travelers will benefit from connections to other major destinations such as Kano, Uyo, Port Harcourt, Warri, and Abuja.

Emirates emphasized that the agreement would further strengthen trade and diplomatic ties between Nigeria and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Commenting on the partnership, Adnan Kazim stated, “Emirates remains a strong supporter of Nigeria’s tourism, trade, and aviation industries. This collaboration with Air Peace enhances connectivity, providing more travel options for corporate and leisure passengers, as well as those visiting friends and family.”

Air Peace’s COO, Oluwatoyin Olajide, also expressed enthusiasm about the agreement, highlighting its impact on global connectivity for Nigerian travelers.

“We are excited about this strategic interline partnership, which marks a significant milestone in improving travel accessibility for Nigerians. It aligns with our goal of delivering seamless, world-class travel experiences while expanding our international network,” she said.

Olajide further emphasized that the collaboration would improve ease of travel, boost business and tourism, and strengthen economic ties between Nigeria and the UAE. She also noted that it would reinforce Nigeria’s aviation industry by enhancing efficiency and positioning the country as a key regional and global travel hub.

“At Air Peace, we are committed to delivering greater connectivity, convenience, and top-tier service for our passengers,” she added.

With this interline agreement, both airlines aim to provide more efficient travel solutions while driving growth in Nigeria’s aviation sector.
