Giannis Antetokounmpo Lands Athlete of the Year Honour in Greece

Giannis Antetokounmpo has landed the “Best Male Athlete” honour for 2021 in the PSAT (Panhellenic Sports Press Association) Awards. This is the second consecutive year the 2021 NBA champion wins the honor, redeeming for his successful run with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The “Greek Freak” wasn’t able to travel to Athens in order to receive his award, as he is currently in quarantine in Milwaukee, after entering the NBA’s health and safety protocols last week.

Joining Giannis in the top three of the Panhellenic Sports Press Association voting are Tokyo 2020 long jump gold medalist, Miltos Tentoglou and rowing – single sculls gold medalist, Stefanos Ntouskos.
