Hollywood: Russell Crowe Joins Cast Of Thor: Love and Thunder

Russell Crowe is the latest actor to join Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder.

According to reports, Crowe’s involvement in the third Thor film has been kept a secret (as intended by Marvel Studios) but a bunch of pictures of him hanging out with the cast hit the internet and it became public knowledge.

Crowe’s casting was confirmed by a Deadline report that said, “Crowe is many surprises to come out of the film.”

Thor: Love and Thunder features the return of Natalie Portman as Jane Foster. She is reportedly diagnosed with cancer and her battle with the terminal illness will lead to her wielding Thor’s magical hammer Mjolnir.

Reprising their roles are lead star Chris Hemsworth (as Thor), Tessa Thompson (as Valkyrie), and Chris Pratt (as Star-Lord).

Russell Crowe is a Hollywood actor from New Zealand who came to worldwide attention for playing the character of the heroic Roman General Maximus Decimus Meridius in the epic film Gladiator (2000).

For his role in Gladiator, he won an Academy Award, a Broadcast Film Critics Association Award, an Empire Award, and a London Film Critics Circle Award for Best Leading Actor.

Some of Crowe’s other films include L.A. Confidential (1997), Cinderella Man (2005), American Gangster (2007), Man of Steel (2013), and The Nice Guys (2016).
