Insurgency sponsoring: 6 Nigerians Convicted By The UAE For Sponsoring Boko Haram

An Abu Dhabi high court has convicted 6 Nigerians of funding Boko Haram.
After losing at a lower court, an appellate court upheld the decision to sentence Surajo Abubakar Muhammad and Saleh Yusuf Adamu to life imprisonment.
The rest, Ibrahim Ali Alhassan, AbdurRahman Ado Musa, Bashir Ali Yusuf, and Muhammad Ibrahim Isa, got ten-year imprisonment each.
The men were arrested between April 16 and 17, 2017. Their homes also searched according to the search warrant issued by the NSP office and convicting evidence, discovered which confirmed their involvement and membership with the terrorist sect.

Court documents provided show that the convicts were allegedly involved in cash transfers totaling $782,000.00 to Boko Haram between 2015 and 2016.
