Iran Unveils 10-Point Peace Plan to U.S., Seeks Sanctions Relief

Iranian media outlets have revealed details of a proposed 10-point peace plan submitted to the United States, outlining key conditions for a long-term resolution to ongoing tensions.

According to the Tasnim News Agency, the proposal includes a permanent ceasefire, Iran’s continued control of the Strait of Hormuz, and recognition of its right to enrich uranium. While the full document has not been officially released, Iranian officials reportedly presented it during ongoing discussions tied to a two-week ceasefire.

The plan also calls for the removal of international sanctions, including those imposed by the United Nations Security Council, and the reversal of resolutions by the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). Additionally, Iran is seeking war reparations and the withdrawal of U.S. forces from the region.

The proposal envisions an end to hostilities across multiple fronts, including Lebanon. Reports from the Fars News Agency further indicate that Iran would commit to not developing nuclear weapons, with uranium enrichment levels to be negotiated in future talks.

U.S. President Donald Trump described the proposal as a “workable foundation” for negotiations, with both countries expected to continue discussions throughout the ceasefire period.
