Quadri Aruna’s run at the 2021 World Table Tennis Championships has ended after succumbing to a 4-2 defeat in the hands of the Sweden’s Truls Moregard in the quarter finals.
The Nigerian did however had a good outing in the competition as he performed well as a true ambassador of African continent.
Quadri set a record as the first African to reach the quarter final of the competition.
It ended 4-2 (13-11, 11-8, 2-11, 11-4, 12-14, 11-7) in favour of the Swedish
