The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has issued a stern warning to certain registration centres engaging in nighttime registration for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), citing concerns over candidate safety and security.
In a statement released by the Board, JAMB expressed concern over the increasing trend of nocturnal registration, stating that while it appreciates efforts to accommodate more candidates, such practices should not compromise their well-being.

JAMB warned that this notice serves as a final warning to the implicated centres, stressing that no further notifications would be issued before disciplinary measures are taken. The Board reiterated its commitment to upholding the integrity of the UTME registration process, ensuring fairness and equity for all candidates.
The Board further urged all registration centres to adhere strictly to guidelines and prioritize the safety of candidates over profit-making motives. It assured the public that it would continue monitoring the registration exercise and take necessary actions against any centre found violating its regulations.
Candidates and parents are advised to remain vigilant and report any registration centre engaging in unapproved practices to JAMB to protect the credibility of the examination process.
