Jandor Votes, Charges Security Agencies To Live Up To Expectations

The Lagos State candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the 2023 general elections, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, after casting his ballot in Lagos about 11 a.m. this morning, made the above statement and lamented what he described as rampant violence, harassment, and voter intimidation.

Notwithstanding his complaints about voter intimidation and insecurity in different sections of the state, Jandor expressed confidence that he will win the election.

“We are getting reports from everywhere and we have seen widespread violence, voter intimidation which we expected anyway. We call on the security agencies to live up to expectations. We are confident, we will win the entire 245 wards, so we are very optimistic we will win this election,” he said.

When asked if he will congratulate the winner in event of a loss, Jandor responded that the election is a process and he would follow through till the end.

To win the position of governor of Lagos State, he must dislodge the incumbent governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the APC and win other candidates, including Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the Labour Party.
