Update: Shooting In Abuja

Gunshots reported at Federal Secretariat Abuja Thursday Morning.

According to our correspondent, members of the Nigerian Police Force stationed at the Federal Secretariat and around the Three Arms Zone were compelled to use gun fire to disperse a protest organized by members of the Elzazakay group.

Some civil servants around the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, traders at the Eagle Square and passersby were seen running, as motorists also scampered for safety.

Although, the situation is calm at the moment, the Three Arms Zone is being cordoned off by the police.
