Kano To Commission Ultra-Modern Cancer Centre In October

The Kano State Government says it has concluded plans to inaugurate the newly constructed ultra-modern Muhammdu Buhari Cancer Treatment Centre in October 2022.

The state Commissioner for Health, Dr Aminu Tsanyawa, made this known in kano while addressing newsmen on activities to signal commencement of the maiden Kano Health Week.

Tsanyawa said, “The Centre which had been completed and fully equipped,  would attract health tourists across the African region and beyond.”

He said the Kano Health week was designed to showcase the feat achieved by Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje’s administration in the sector.

The Commissioner further explained that the Health Week will provide opportunity for medical outreach services in addition to other activities.

He urged residents of the state to avail themselves the opportunity to access free healthcare services during the exercise billed to hold between September 19 and September 23.
