Kebbi Election Re-Run: CP Task Members to Respect Citizens’ Rights

Kebbi State Police Commissioner, CP Lawal Daura, has charged policemen to be civil, polite, and professional, but firm in all their dealings with members of the public, during the re-run of elections, with emphasis on the respect of the fundamental human rights of the citizens.

Lawal gave the charge in a statement at the Police State headquarters in Birninkebbi, immediately after the decoration of five promoted senior police officers.

Kebbi Governor Bagudu Dissolves Cabinet

The CP insisted that they should provide a conducive atmosphere for the peaceful conduct of the forthcoming re-run election, slated for Saturday,15th April in the state.

He also solicited the people of Kebbi State to cooperate with the police and other security agencies in the state, to enable them to discharge their duty optimally.
