Lahore Airport: Flight Operation Suspended Amid Dusty Winds

Flight operation was suspended at Lahore Airport due to howling gales and dust-laden winds in the city, on Friday.

It is learnt that the Lahore-bound Airblue flight PA413 from Sharjah was diverted to Multan Airport, for the air traffic controller did not allow the pilot to land the plane due to dusty winds.

After being disallowed to land in Lahore, the pilot diverted the direction of the plane to Multan Airport where he landed it.

It is to be noted here that the dusty winds, followed by heavy rainfall, brought a sight of relief for the people reeling under shocks from the scorching sun.

At the same time, it also brought bad news for the people whose loved ones fell prey to accidents caused by gale-force winds and heavy rainfall in the city.
