- Economic Reforms: Tinubu acknowledged the current economic challenges, such as rising living costs and unemployment. He reassured Nigerians that the ongoing reforms are beginning to show positive outcomes, urging patience. “I assure you, your voices are being heard, and we are starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel,” he said.
- Security Achievements: The President highlighted significant progress in combating terrorism and banditry, noting the elimination of over 300 Boko Haram and bandit commanders. “Our administration is winning the war on terror and banditry, restoring peace to hundreds of communities,” Tinubu declared.
- Return of Displaced Persons: Tinubu shared that many Nigerians displaced by conflict have started returning to their homes, with security agencies working to ensure swift resolution. “Thousands of our people have returned home, and we remain committed to ending these conflicts quickly,” he affirmed.
- Response to Natural Disasters: Following recent flooding incidents, the President announced the establishment of a Disaster Relief Fund and the initiation of dam integrity tests to prevent future disasters. “The federal government will always stand by our people during their times of need,” Tinubu promised.
