NNPCL Warns Against Fake Recruitment Ads, Says It’s Not Hiring

The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has cautioned the public against fraudulent recruitment advertisements circulating online, clarifying that it is not currently hiring.

In a statement posted on its official X handle on Friday, NNPCL urged job seekers to be wary of scam recruitment schemes, emphasizing that all legitimate job openings would only be announced through its official website and verified social media channels.

“The general public is hereby informed that NNPC Limited is not recruiting. Official recruitment announcements will only be made through our website and verified social media platforms,” the company stated.

NNPCL reaffirmed that its hiring process is transparent, merit-based, and does not require external assistance. It also warned Nigerians to disregard any unofficial job postings falsely claiming to be from NNPCL, as they are likely scams designed to defraud unsuspecting applicants.

The company assured the public that it remains committed to upholding the integrity of its recruitment process and will officially announce any job openings when available.

“We advise the public to always verify information directly from our official platforms to avoid being misled by scammers,” NNPCL stated.

Additionally, the company encouraged individuals to report any suspicious recruitment advertisements falsely linked to NNPCL to the appropriate authorities.
