Paris 2024: Victory Over Canada Will Take D’Tigress To knock-out Stage

It’s ‘A luta continua for Nigeria’s women’s  basketball team, D’Tigress as they face Canada  this Sunday at thePierre Mauroy Stadium, in Lille.

It is expected to be a close fight as the Nigerian side will not only want to make up for their last week loss to France, but also to avenge their 2018 loss to Canada at the FIBA Women’s World Cup.

At the time, Canada had a narrow win of 73-72. The Canadian team last week lost to Australia that the Nigerian team had earlier defeated making this Sunday duel a potentially unpredictable one.

You get 2 points for a win and 1 point for a loss. Canada has 2 losses and also has 2 points
Nigeria has lost to France and now have 3 points while France have 4 points
