Pentagon Releases Names Of U.S. Soldiers Killed In Iran Conflict

The Pentagon has identified four of the six American service members who lost their lives amid the ongoing conflict involving Iran.

According to the Department of War, the four soldiers were killed in a drone strike in Kuwait. The attack occurred Sunday when a drone struck a command center in Port Shuaiba, Kuwait. Two additional service members were also killed in the incident.

“These men and women all bravely volunteered to defend our country, and their sacrifice will never be forgotten,” said Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll.

The strike took place one day after the United States and Israel launched a joint military campaign against Iran, which subsequently carried out retaliatory attacks across the region.

All of the identified personnel were members of the 103rd Sustainment Command based in Des Moines, Iowa.

Officials confirmed that the following Army Reserve soldiers were killed on Sunday:

  • Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, of Winter Haven, Florida
  • Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, of Bellevue, Nebraska
  • Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, of White Bear Lake, Minnesota
  • Spc. Declan J. Coady, 20, of West Des Moines, Iowa

Each of them served with the 103rd Sustainment Command, a unit responsible for logistics support, including the provision of food, fuel, water, ammunition, and transportation of equipment and supplies.

Authorities said investigations into the strike are ongoing, including formal reviews and depositions related to the circumstances surrounding the attack.
