The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has said that allegation by the police high command against narcotics officers in Enugu was untrue.
The agency noted that it has no reason to shield anyone who may be indicated in the course of the ongoing investigation of a 25kg cocaine deal involving a gang allegedly headed by deputy commissioner of police Abba Kyari.
NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, today, said it remains committed to the evidence-based investigation and its resolve cannot be weakened by any misrepresentation of facts.
