Police Present N48.5m To 15 Deceased Personnel’s Families In Nasarawa

Over Forty-Eight Million Naira cheque were presented to fifteen deceased police personnel families ,who lost their lives while in active service.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, ASP Ramhan Nansel and issued to journalists in Lafia.

According to the statement, the Nasarawa state Commissioner of Police, Adesina Soyemi, presented the cheque on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police.

While presenting the cheque, the Commissioner of Police appreciated the Inspector-General of Police for providing succour to the families of deceased Police officers, and exhort the beneficiaries to invest the Money in profitable ventures that will better the lives of their Families.

Adding that the gesture is an initiative of the Inspector-General of Police, ‘’Group Life Assurance’’ geared towards improving the capacity and living standard of the families of Police personnel that lost their lives in the line of duty.
