President Moon Jae-in and First Lady Kim Jung-sook have cast their ballots in early voting for Seoul mayor.
They visited a polling station this morning near the presidential compound.
A two-day early voting period kicked off Friday in South Korea’s two largest cities Seoul and Busan ahead of the April 7th by-election.
Polling stations are open from 6 AM to 6 PM under strict virus prevention measures.
Some 8.4 million eligible voters in Seoul and about 2.9 million in Busan will pick their new mayors that will serve until next April.
