In a notable show of support, senators have endorsed the initiative to distribute 10 billion copies of Rhapsody of Realities, a monthly devotional by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome of Christ Embassy Church. This ambitious project aims to inspire positive attitudinal changes that will contribute to growth and national development.
On Thursday, the senators voiced their commitment during the “Reach Out World Day with Rhapsody of Realities” launch held at the National Assembly Complex.
Senator Omueya Dafinone (APC/Delta) highlighted Rhapsody of Realities as a transformative guide offering daily reflections on God’s word to help readers worldwide lead better lives.
Senator Thomas Joel-Onowakpo (PDP/Delta) acknowledged the financial requirements for this extensive distribution, encouraging faith in the project’s funding.
Pastor Obi Chiemeka, Director of the Christ Embassy Ministry Centre in Abuja, shared that the devotional has already been translated into over 8,000 languages, including Braille for visually impaired readers. With ongoing translations in new dialects, the total language count is expected to reach 12,000, facilitating its monthly distribution globally.
Dr. Chris Iyam, Executive Director of CYPA-Africa, added that if lawmakers began their day by engaging with Rhapsody of Realities, they could be positively influenced in their legislative work. The launch at the National Assembly was strategic, reflecting the belief that the nation’s future rests significantly in the hands of its lawmakers.
This global distribution event is set for December 2, marking an unprecedented step in spreading the publication worldwide.
