Several Feared Trapped As Two-Storey Building Collapses In Ogun

An unspecified number of people are feared trapped after a two-storey building collapsed in the Ajuwon area of Ifo Local Government Area, Ogun State.

The incident reportedly occurred near Bada Hospital, close to Ajuwon Bus Stop, on Tuesday.

According to eyewitness accounts, two floors of the building caved in, while the uppermost section of the structure remained partially standing.

The collapse has raised concerns that several occupants may still be trapped beneath the debris as rescue efforts are expected to commence.

As of the time of filing this report, emergency management agencies had not released an official statement confirming the number of casualties, survivors or the status of ongoing rescue operations.
