Standard Chartered Bank suspends int’l transactions on naira card August 1

Standard Chartered Bank says it will suspend international transactions on its naira visa debit card from next month.

The bank made this known in a recent statement to customers, signed by its head of deposits, debit cards and mortgages.

According to the statement, the suspension would take effect from August 1, this year.

Meanwhile, the bank said the International spend limit on the bank’s credit card remains at $1,000 monthly and Foreign Currency Debit Card limits remain unchanged.
