Candidates who participated in the 2026 mock examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) can now check their results online with ease.
The mock exam, designed to help candidates familiarize themselves with the Computer-Based Test (CBT) environment, serves as a preparatory step ahead of the main Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
Below is a simple guide to checking your JAMB mock result:
Step 1: Visit the Official JAMB Portal
Go to the official JAMB result checking portal via: https://www.jamb.gov.ng
Ensure you have a stable internet connection before proceeding.
Step 2: Locate the Result Checking Section
On the homepage, click on the option that says “Check Mock Results” or navigate to the result checking portal.
Step 3: Enter Your Details
Input your JAMB registration number or the email address used during registration in the required field.
Step 4: Click on ‘Check Result’
After entering your details, click the “Check Result” button to proceed.
Step 5: View Your Result
Your mock examination result will be displayed on the screen. You can take a screenshot or print it for reference.
Alternative Method (SMS Option)
Candidates can also check their results via SMS:
- Send “MOCKRESULT” to 55019 or 66019 using the phone number used for registration.
- Ensure you have sufficient airtime, as SMS charges may apply.
Important Notes
- The mock result is strictly for practice and does not affect your main UTME score.
- Candidates are advised to review their performance and improve on weak areas before the main exam.
- In case of issues accessing your result, visit the nearest accredited CBT centre or contact JAMB support.
