The Innercity Mission for Children of Christ Embassy has officially commissioned its 9th mission Primary School in Murbai Taraba State, North-east Nigeria.
Since 2018, the children in Murbai Community, located in Ardo Kola Local Government Area of the state were forced to abandon their education because they had no place to learn as their only school was destroyed by insurgent attacks.
However, working with her partners, the Innercity Mission for Children under the auspices of the Chris Oyakhilome Foundation International (COFI) took up the challenge of building a school for the community.
The event had in attendance the Director of the InnerCity Mission, senior Pastors & Partners of Christ Embassy Church, Government officials and honorable personalities.
Beneficiaries of the newly commissioned Innercity Mission Primary School Taraba also received free school skits and are entitled to the InnerCity Mission school feeding program where they get at least one nutritious meal each school day.
What a great relief it is for the families of these children as throughout their primary education, they would never have to worry about tuition fees and educational supplies.
