Tesla is recalling up to 36,126 of its Model S and Model X vehicles in China over touch-screen failures representing Tesla’s third in China since the fourth quarter of 2020.
According to JL Warren Capital, Tesla’s market share of the “new energy vehicle” category in China, which includes pure battery electrics such as Tesla’s, reached 12% in 2020.
