Three teenagers have been charged in connection with the theft of £11,490 worth of mobile phones from an Apple store in Cambridge.
Cambridgeshire Police said they were alerted by a member of the public on Sunday after 11 phones were stolen from the store in the Grand Arcade.
Police later stopped a white BMW on the M11 and arrested a 17-year-old boy from Enfield, London. He has been charged with theft from a shop and breaching a criminal behaviour order, and was due to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday.
Two 16-year-old boys, also from London, were arrested and charged with theft from a shop. They are scheduled to appear at Huntingdon Magistrates’ Court on 4 March.
