Trump Claims 48 Iranian Leaders Killed And Navy Assets Destroyed

US President Donald Trump said in a Fox News interview on Sunday that 48 leaders were killed during joint US and Israeli strikes on Iran.

“It’s moving along. It’s moving along rapidly. This has been this way for 47 years,” Trump said during the interview. “It’s moving along rapidly. Nobody can believe the success we’re having, 48 leaders are gone in one shot. And it’s moving along rapidly.”

In addition to the reported casualties, Trump stated that American forces had significantly weakened Iran’s naval capabilities. According to him, nine Iranian navy vessels were destroyed, and the country’s naval headquarters sustained major damage.

“I have just been informed that we have destroyed and sunk 9 Iranian Naval Ships, some of them relatively large and important,” Trump wrote in a post on Truth Social. “We are going after the rest, They will soon be floating at the bottom of the sea, also! In a different attack, we largely destroyed their Naval Headquarters.”

The remarks come amid escalating tensions in the region following coordinated US and Israeli military operations targeting Iranian military infrastructure.
