The United Nations Deputy Secretary-General, Amina Mohammed, has tasked women to take over leadership from the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd), in 2023.
Mohammed, who is leading a delegation of UN senior officials on a visit to Nigeria, stated this on Tuesday while speaking on a television programme in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
On monday UN top official met with the President at Aso Villa in Abuja on strategies to rebuild after the devastations caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Speaking on Tuesday, Mohammed said all Nigerians must come together to rebuild the country, regardless of ethnic or political affiliations.
