Vatican Says It Will Not Bless Same-Sex Unions. ‘God Cant Bless Sin’

The Vatican, in a statement released on Monday has declared that they will not bless same-sex unions as it was a choice and could not be objectively ordered to Gods plans.

This is a stance certain to disappoint the homosexual community an its “friends” who had for some reason hoped that a “faith-based” organisation like the Vatican would approve

The Vatican’s top doctrinal office, the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith wrote in their statement that “The blessing of homosexual unions cannot be considered licit. God does not and cannot bless sin,”

The Vatican said that previous statements where it said that “Homosexual people have a right to be in a family. They’re children of God and have a right to a family. Nobody should be thrown out or be made miserable over it. What we have to create is a civil union law. That way they are legally covered.” have been repeatedly taken out of context and did not indicate a change in doctrine.

This statement is said to have been approved by the “reformist” pope much to the disappointment of Catholics who had hoped the institution would modernize its approach to homosexuality but the church’s insists that marriage should be limited to a union between a man and a woman.

In the Vatican’s view, same-sex marriages are not part of God’s plan for families and raising children.
