The All Progressives Congress (APC) has refuted reports claiming it has released the official list of candidates who emerged victorious in its recently concluded party primaries.
In a statement issued by the party’s National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, the APC described all publications and reports announcing the outcome of the primaries as false, misleading, and unauthorised.
The party urged its members, stakeholders, and the general public not to rely on unofficial reports, stressing that no official list of successful candidates has been released.
According to the APC, candidates who emerged from the primaries will be officially notified through the party’s recognised communication channels before they are presented with their Certificates of Return, in line with the party’s established procedures.
“The public should disregard any publication or report purporting to announce the outcome of the primaries, as such information is false and unauthorised,” the statement said.
The ruling party reiterated that all official updates concerning the primary elections would only be communicated through its authorised platforms.
The APC therefore advised party members, stakeholders, and the public to rely solely on official party communications for accurate information regarding the outcome of the primaries and other related activities.
