NYSC Releases 2026 Batch C Stream II Call-Up Letters
The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has reportedly released call-up letters for prospective corps members under the 2026 Batch C Stream II mobilisation ahead of the nationwide orientation exercise scheduled to begin on Wednesday, November 4.
The development allows affected graduates to check their states of deployment, orientation camp locations and reporting instructions through the official NYSC portal.
The release has also generated reactions on social media, with prospective corps members sharing their postings and discussing preparations for the three-week orientation programme.
NYSC Confirms November 4 Orientation Date
The NYSC had earlier announced that the 2026 Batch C Stream II orientation exercise would commence on November 4 across the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
In a statement issued through its Director of Information and Public Relations, Caroline Embu, the scheme confirmed that registration would begin on Wednesday, November 4, and continue until midnight on Friday, November 6.
The swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for November 6, while the orientation programme will conclude on Tuesday, November 24.
The exercise forms part of the compulsory national service programme for eligible Nigerian graduates.
How Prospective Corps Members Can Check Call-Up Letters
Prospective corps members can access their deployment information through the official NYSC portal at https://portal.nysc.org.ng.

They are expected to log in using their registered credentials, check their dashboards and download their call-up letters where available.
The documents contain important information, including the state of deployment, orientation camp address and reporting instructions.
Candidates are advised to print their call-up letters and review the information carefully before travelling.
They should also ensure that their personal details and other required registration documents are in order.
Deployment Letters Spark Social Media Reactions
The release has prompted conversations among prospective corps members on X, formerly Twitter, as many share their deployment experiences.
Some users expressed excitement about their postings, while others reacted humorously to being assigned to states they had not anticipated.
The discussions also featured requests for travel information and opportunities to connect with other prospective corps members posted to the same locations.
However, graduates have been advised to rely on information provided through official NYSC channels rather than unverified social media updates.
NYSC Advises Corps Members on Safe Travel
As preparations intensify, prospective corps members are encouraged to make adequate travel arrangements and avoid travelling at night.
They should also confirm the addresses of their assigned orientation camps and follow the reporting instructions contained in their call-up letters.
With the orientation exercise beginning on November 4, the latest mobilisation marks another stage in the deployment of Nigerian graduates for national service.
