Turkey Lifts Mask Mandate

It’s no longer compulsory to wear masks in Turkey outside of hospitals. It’s reported that there has been a decline in Covid-19 case numbers since February, and the mask mandate has now been lifted after two years.

With the new directive coming on Monday, masks are no longer required while boarding mass transit, from buses to airplanes. Thus, hospitals are now the only places where wearing a protective mask is still required.

After many countries had lifted their Covid restrictions with people going about their normal lives, Turkey appears to have overcome its struggle against the so called pandemic.
