Sky full of cotton wool ball clouds that look like they’re ‘from another planet’ stun residents in Argentina as beautiful Mammatus formation appears on overcast day

An unusual weather phenomena wowed residents in Argentina due to the rare cloud formation that looked like a series of giant balls of cotton wool.

The overcast sky changed to Mammatus clouds last week over Casa Grande, Cordoba .

The weird cloud formation, while looking beautiful, can warn of potentially violent thunder storms.

People viewing the video described the clouds as ‘marshmallows’, ‘cotton wool’ and ‘freaky’.

Viewers were amazed at such a mesmerising sight. ‘Those are the prettiest clouds I have ever seen,’ a user commented. Some called them, ‘Marshmallow clouds’.
Mammatus clouds often form on the base of storm clouds but can be associated with other types of clouds as well. It is described as “in essence an upside-down cloud.”

Mammatus clouds most often signal that a storm is on a weakening trend. These clouds are formed in part by sinking air.

Osimhen Suffers Compression Injury, Joins Etebo In Missing Nations Cup

The striker is set to be out for three months and will miss adding to his bronze from 2019

ictor Osimhen has joined Oghenekaro Etebo on the list of injured Super Eagles players who will be unavailable for the 2022 Nations Cup that begins early January 2022 in Cameroon.

The Napoli striker was injured in a clash of heads with Inter Milan defender, Milan Skriniar, on Sunday, and had to be operated upon on Tuesday.

Speaking after the successful surgery, the operating doctor, Gianpaolo Tartaro, revealed how and what had to be done to repair the extensive facial injury.

The surgeon revealed the striker required ‘six plaques and 18 screws’ to repair the ‘devastating’ damage.

“Osimhen’s injury was not just a simple fracture to the cheekbone, as it involved many other bones in his face.

“It wasn’t an impact injury, it was one of compression. The kinetic force generated by the crushing of Osimhen’s face against the back of Skriniar’s head did devastating damage.

“In order to repair the fractures, I had to insert six plaques and up to 18 screws.

His club website also stated: “On Tuesday morning, Victor Osimhen was operated on his cheekbone and eye socket by Gianpaolo Tartaro, who was assisted by Dr Mario Santagata with Dr Raffaele Canonico also present,” the club stated.

“Titanium plates and screws were used in the operation. The player is doing well and will remain under observation for the next few days.

“Osimhen is expected to return to action in three months.” Napoli concluded.

Osimhen’s impending absence will be a big blow for both the Super Eagles and Napoli as the towering striker has been massive on both fronts.

Osimhen had scored five Serie A goals and four in the Europa League so far this season and he was Nigeria’s top scorer in the recently concluded Group stage of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers with four goals.

This year, the IPPC culminated in a special ordination service, hosted by the man of God and President of Loveworld Incorporated, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome.

Over 1400 ministers of God were ordained to the positions of pastorship and deaconry Sunday November 21, at the prestigious Christ Embassy Camp Grounds, Asese, along the Lagos Ibadan Expressway, South West Nigeria.

The ministers who had been found worthy of this new assignment, pledged their commitment and dedication to the fresh calling.
Rev. Dr. Chris Oyakhilome charged the newly ordained to be prepared to give their all in service. He prayed and laid hands on them as it was in Bible days by the apostles of the Lord Jesus Christ.

With shouts of rejoicing and praises from the congregation, a new set of soldiers had been released for the end time war. One of the newly ordained Deaconesses and an acclaimed gospel minister Sophia expressed joy and gratitude to the Man of God. In her words ” .. I am so humbled. Its my purpose and divine destiny to serve in this capacity in the house of God. The glory of God is surely beaming out of me to the ends of the earth. I look forward to accomplishing all that God has set for me to do before rapture in Jesus name”.

Only half an hour from the centre of Berlin is the world’s second largest botanical garden and botanical museum. Second only to Kew Gardens in London.

Established at the end of the 19th century, the garden now covers some 43 hectares and includes over 20,000 individual species of plant from all over the world.

Attached to the gardens is the Botanical Museum, the only one of its kind in central Europe.

The museum is, however, closed until late 2022 due to much needed refurbishment.

Although part of the Free University of Berlin, the gardens and the museum actively encourage a wider participation in the historic and world-class facility.

From the outset the first director and designer of the Gardens, Adolf Engler, said he wanted to create “the world in a garden.”

The sheer number and diversity of plants here is a testament to his and his successors efforts to achieve this.

As is the fact that the gardens receive over half a million visitors each year from all over the world.

Crabs Paint Christmas Island Red As Migration Begins

0

Millions of red crabs have begun the long journey marking their annual migration to the coast of Christmas Island.

The migration begins with the first rains of the wet season on Christmas Island, an Australian territory in the Indian Ocean.

Each year, it takes months of preparation by Christmas Island National Park staff to set up miles of road barriers and signs to ensure that the crabs pass over specially constructed bridges.

The speed of the migration depends on the phase of the moon, as red crabs always spawn before dawn on a falling high tide during the last quarter of the moon, according to Parks Australia.

The crabs move in large numbers from their forest to the sea.

Parks Australia expects spawning to occur toward the end of the month.

Each female crab can release up to 100,000 eggs into the ocean.

The resulting baby crabs are expected to return to shore a month later and return to the forest.

Matt Damon has some big-name endorsers for a book he has out March 1 about access to safe water.

Former President Bill Clinton and Nobel Peace Prize-winner Muhammad Yunus are among those providing blurbs for “The Worth of Water,” which the Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker worked on with civil and environmental engineer Gary White.

Damon has been a prominent spokesman for water sanitation since visiting Zambia in 2006, and with White founded the nonprofits Water.org and WaterEquity.

Damon and White met at a Clinton Global Initiative gathering in 2008.

“We’re excited to have written this book together, and we can’t wait to share the story of what happens when a movie actor and a civil engineer team up to try and take on the global water crisis — the stumbles and obstacles, the breakthroughs and big gains, and the incredible people we met along the way,” Damon and White said in a statement Tuesday.

“Our journey has proved two things: one, solving the water crisis is possible — within our lifetimes. And two, the key is unleashing the incredible determination and resourcefulness of the people who are fighting every day for essentials like safe water and sanitation.”
